A checklist of items to check in proof-of-performance testing of a converted BCB transmitter to the ham bands (e.g. 80 Meters).
Reason: Often significant material changes are made to circuity to get a particular ‘box’ originally operable on the BCB (Broadcast Band) moved to operation on 80 Meters … a ‘proof-of-performance’ test will verify that neutralization, RF bypassing/decoupling caps et cetera are functioning to assure a stable, clean transmitter as designed by the original equipment manufacturer.
